Wednesday, July 12, 2006 wednesday shall blog before i start work.. past few days have been very busy.. first sunday. was rushing out the MP attachment stuff. Powerpoint and Report.. then had some time to edit my lit review. monday.. OH YAH. i rmbed i was busy from morning till 10pm at nite.. after sch had to stay back to present semifinal ppt to mrs har. drag drag and drag all the way till 5.30pm. was supposed to have zhongruan lesson at 7pm. but i reached home its 6.50pm. took out my ruan and played for a while before going. played till 7.30. after which, i went to take bus.. TAKE WRONG BUS. ended up in the bus interchange at kovan there, so had to walk there. walked there its 8.30pm le.. LATE FOR 1.5 hr. X ) my teacher was stunned. lol. but in the end i practised at her shop until 9.30. noticed i say practised? tuesday was project's day semis. presented at 11+ when our slot is at 10am. went home its 3.30pm. slept for 1hr and started revising for chem test. was half asleep. haha. THEN I REALISED I GOT MP ATTACHMENT at 8.30pm. returned home at arnd 10.30pm. wednesday:today.. chem test! nsw eng! had to help chris seah gif out survey forms to class to do. sorry oni managed to get back 12 survey forms. :| haf to start work on my hrp alrd. borrowed 2 books. not sure they will help. and songsim said my blog is inspirational!? haha. Sunday, July 09, 2006 Germany won Portugal 3-1. yeah. din expect the scoreline to be so big though. haha completed my mp attachment report and powerpoint today. did till like 1am plus this morning. today i shall edit my hrp first submission and let ms sim vet tmr. and i shall do my eng, chem and phy homework at 7pm. then later study my chem test which is on wednesday. just edited my intro chapter, moving on to lit review next. next week is going to be so hectic. tuesday is pday semis, wednesday is chem test. then next next monday is hrp submission. gotta continue with work. should i watch the france and italy match? Saturday, July 08, 2006 open house had a very unique open house performance todae. it was somewhat like last year's, but with a different ending. i cant seem to remember the open house 2 years ago.. arhh. but nvm. its suuposed to be sort of a cycle thing. like band play for 20 mins. co play 20. string orchestra play 20. then break. haha. during the first break a few of us went to play soccer. assembled at the canteen slightly later than the supposed time. was drenched in sweat. almost got scolded by tangc. oops. haha. the second round of performances started shortly. after which was third round. band.. co.. then when string orchestra was playing towards the end, havent finish yet.. band interrupted them. they were soo pissed. haha. dunno why we oso feel angry for them.. then everyone settled down and we interrupted band with our 天龙八部! it was extrememly loud. can see band oso realised they have been interrupted too! lol. was laughing like anything. what's better.. string orc bass and cello joined us in playing the 金蛇狂舞 after band played again. this time they lent us their microphones. and we asked songsim to blast the suona right in front of it. it was SUPER FUNNY. free for all then. so any one of the musical groups can play. but string orch cant play cos they not loud enuff. but we certainly had fun playing together. X ) felt quite bad. took a lot of time then band and string orch cant play their pieces. and in the end everyone's hands were pain after strumming/bowing/pressing so hard. haha. and today's justin's bdae! happy birthday! Friday, July 07, 2006 back to blogging having stepped down is like removing a big thorn sticking into my head. now i realised that i have been thinking and worrying too much. worrying too much about how HCICO will do in next year's SYF. i guess its worthless worrying. i shud have let nature take its course. can still rmb so clearly the first time when i have to debrief the co. the first time i talked to tangc about co issues. the first time i shouted "qi li" in front of whole co. those i will never forget. when i first heard that the school arranged for a concert for us in October with a hk youth orchestra, i felt that this was so undeserving for us. we have a tradition of having our own concert. but definitely not sharing this concert with another orchestra. so i tried to talk to tangc. pestering him for our own concert. pestering him every time im free in school. even if it means skipping lunch. he rejected the idea many a time, but i would always remind him that members need the exposure, to get prepared for SYF. finally he agreed. but at that time the CO standard is still rather low. suona cant sound properly. everyone is soo unmotivated. theres no syf this year and so theres no common goal for everyone to work towards to. but i hope that a concert would serve the same purpose. every time after co, me and yeejiunn would talk to conductor and ask him to suggest some songs for the concert. each time we finish learning a piece, tangc would come and tell us that it does not sound nice. and ask us to cancel it. so me and yeejiunn have to ask conductor for more songs. the cycle went on until late May when tangc finally agreed to a set of songs. the co is tired of practising and practising new songs. can feel that the morale is low. it has taken away the purpose of a concert. there was even a time where the CO had to come together to decide whether or not to have the concert. majority said yes. i was soo happy. at least they are working towards a goal despite the little amount of time. but the concert is still eventually cancelled due to insufficient time. had to do it or else it would affect the october concert too. i was heartbroken. i wanted to fulfil the promise i made to the co during my election speech. having a concert purely for the CO. perhaps its this desire that took apart many friendships, that made me look like a fool. im sorry for putting too high hopes on the CO. im sorry for proposing a concert for the co in the first place. im sorry for all this trouble. im sorry to the comm for making u all work for nothing. but im glad that this gotconcert-noconcert thing has set the CO going. going for the concert in october. and next year's syf. i was soo happy when tangc praised our standard today during dazu. i did not hear him praise the co at all for almost a year. jiayou bah HCICO. thats all i could say now.
